Do you work with local businesses in Croydon and South London?
Yes. Most of the businesses we work with are based in Croydon and nearby areas. We’re local, and we’re always happy to visit your shop, office, or workspace if you prefer to explain things face-to-face.
Can you come out and discuss my website in person?
Absolutely. Many clients prefer to show what they want instead of explaining it over the phone. We’ve had projects where the owner simply said, “Come and I’ll show you,” and it made the whole process quicker and clearer.
What do you need from me to get started?
Just the essentials: your business name, logo if you have one, contact details, address, opening hours, any photos of your shop or services, a short list of the pages you want, and any examples or styles you like.
Do you create logos if I don't have one?
Yes. We offer simple, clean logo designs for small businesses that need affordable branding to get started.
How long does a website take to build?
Most small business websites take 1–6 weeks, depending on content and complexity. We can also work faster if needed.
How soon can you start?
We can usually start within 24–48 hours, depending on current bookings. Local clients can request an in-person meeting before the project begins.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. We require a 30% deposit to begin the project, with the remaining balance due on completion once you’re happy with the website.
Do you offer SEO?
Yes. Every website includes basic on-page SEO. We also provide monthly SEO and support packages to help your website grow.
Do you offer website maintenance?
Yes. We can manage updates, security, backups, speed optimisation, and small changes on a monthly basis.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. If your current website is slow, outdated or difficult to update, we can rebuild or modernise it with a clean, fast and easy-to-use design.
Can you migrate my current website to a new platform?
Yes. We review your existing platform, content and features before agreeing a migration plan. This can include moving to WordPress, retaining suitable page addresses and setting up redirects where needed. Any platform limitations or features that need rebuilding are discussed before work starts.
Do you provide hosting?
Yes. We can provide hosting or help you set up your own hosting account. Hosting includes SSL, backups and security setup.
Will my website work well on mobile?
Yes. Every website we build is fully responsive and optimised for mobile phones, tablets and desktops.
What if I don’t know exactly what I want?
No problem. Many clients feel the same. We can plan the design and content together. You don’t need any technical knowledge — just tell us about your business and we’ll guide you.
Can I update the website myself?
For WordPress websites, we can provide access for everyday content updates. We agree the handover and any training you need as part of the project, including which changes are straightforward to make yourself.
What happens to my domain, hosting and website access?
We agree the domain, hosting and administrator access arrangements before work begins. Your quote should make clear what is being supplied and identify any third-party software or licences involved. If you already have hosting or a domain, we review those accounts before recommending changes.
Are there ongoing costs after the website is built?
There can be ongoing charges for the domain, hosting, premium software or third-party booking and payment services. We identify the services your project needs and explain any optional maintenance separately from the website build.
Do you write the website content?
We can discuss content writing or work with text and photographs you supply. The amount of writing, editing and image sourcing is agreed in the quote, so you know what to prepare and what we will handle.
Who owns the finished website?
You keep ownership of material you supply. The bespoke work agreed for transfer becomes yours after full payment, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Third-party software, fonts and stock assets retain their own licence terms.
How do feedback and extra changes work?
We agree review points and the included revisions in your quote. Bring your feedback together at each stage so we can resolve it clearly. New pages or features outside the agreed scope are discussed and priced before extra work starts.
What if I find a problem after launch?
Contact us with the page address and what happened so we can investigate. Faults in the agreed work are assessed against your project agreement and applicable rights. Ongoing updates and new features are separate from correcting work that was not delivered as agreed.
How can I plan the first-year website budget?
Ask for the build price plus domain, hosting and any required software renewals. Keep optional maintenance and SEO separate, and check the billing dates for each service. Your quote confirms the total payable before you commit.
